Rosario's is a labor of love- stemming from my father, Rosario (because I love the name) and
partly because both of my parents made me who I am today.
Having been the oldest
or four and the only girl, I always marched to my own 'drum', doing my own thing including making my own style. I've
always been artistic, having studied music for more than half of my life and I have dabbled in acrylics as well as sculpture,
ultimately leaning toward jewelry design. As I have ecletcic tastes, I wasn't finding what I wanted in the market ,
so four years ago I decided to create my own. I use natural elements-pearls, semi precious stones, bone, silver &
wood & amber and "fuse" it with asian pendants. "fusion jewelry" fusing the artwork from the East with the spontaneous
originality of the West-hence Rosario's Originals!
My designs are unique
and no two are exactly alike. In fact, I try not to duplicate any one piece as each one is individual, as much as the
person who wears it. Much of my designs have an asian flare, others have a more bohemian flare. My goal is to
create wearable art that you can dress up or down- jeans or formals- whatever the mood. My pendants are selected from
Nepal, India or Pakistan and many of them are one of a kind, older pieces. I also design bracelets & earrings
and do custom work upon request.
